Prospective
Students
The International
Studies Preparation (ISP) programme is a two-year enrichment
programme for grades 9 and 10, designed to prepare students for the
challenges & rewards of the rigourous IB programme. It requires
students to engage in the study of languages, sciences, mathematics,
and humanities all in an attempt for them to recognize not only the
individuality of each of the disciplines but also to understand the
co-relation between them.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
is a sophisticated two year curriculum that covers a wide range of
academic subjects and has stood the test of time since its inception
in 1968. Today the IB Program is taught in over 2729 schools and 138
countries in the world. Graduates are welcomed by the world’s leading
universities. Certified as an IB World School in April of 2007, the
Georgetown District High School IB Diploma Programme strives to provide
an exceptional learning environment for students. Not only does the
IB program promote highly educated students, but it also encourages
globally aware and involved individuals.
Ideal candidates for both of these programs are students who
are dedicated, self-motivated and readily accepting of challenges.
They not only possess high academic standing and display solid academic
potential but also are actively involved in extracurricular activities
and the broader community. |
