| Since the creation of the GDHS IB Student League (by one of our IB Diploma students), the students have met weekly to plan, coordinate and orchestrate a growing list of activities. The students have demonstrated their responsibility, compassion, and awareness of regional, national, and international events. They will continue to include other GDHS leadership groups, such as: the Student Council, Social Justice League, and the Athletic Council in their events. "It's Not Just About IB!" WE ARE GEORGETOWN! | ||||
| On December 19, one of our students was chosen to carrying the Olympic Torch through Georgetown. This was indeed a very special moment in this very deserving young man's life. | ||||
