Valedictorian information and forms


Submission of Graduate Information, Gown Order and $55.00 to Mrs. Fishback by Friday, May 17th.

Class of 2013 Valedictorian Nomination Forms due into the Main Office by Wednesday, May 15th, 2013. Candidates must submit a short speech to be proofread by an administrator by Friday, May 17th.

Voting for Valedictorian at the Grad Assembly, 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 22nd in the Studio Theatre.

Grad Breakfast in the Cafeteria on Monday, June 17th: 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.

Last date to submit evidence of Community Service Hours to Ms. Cannell, in Guidance, in order to satisfy the Graduation Requirement of 40 hours of Community Service is Friday, July 5th.

Last date to submit summer school/academic proof of satisfying the OSSD 30 credits to graduate to Ms. Cannell, in Guidance, to be included in the Commencement exercise and program is Friday, September 27th.

Absolute final day to be included in the Commencement Celebration and program by submitting gown order and payment to Mrs. Fishback is Friday, September 27th.

RSVPs due to Mrs. Fishback indicating the number of tickets for guests [maximum of 4], no later than Friday, September 27th. Invitations will be mailed to your home address in the first week of September.

Pick up your tickets [maximum of 4], gown and Yearbook, if previously ordered ~ bring receipt ~ at Georgetown District High School from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Office Conference Room on Friday November 8th. Please make arrangements for a family member or a friend to do this pick up for you if you are unable to do this yourself.

Commencement Day, Friday, November 8th, to be held at the Mississauga Convention Centre, 75 Derry Road. Arrive by 6:45 PM, with your gown, and you will be directed to a marshalling area.

Congratulatory bouquets of fresh flowers will be available in the lobby for purchase should parents or friends be interested. Approximate price range is $15-$25.
