| French Immersion |

The Early French Immersion program is open to students who have completed
the Early French Immersion program in a Halton elementary school or, by
permission, to students from jurisdictions outside Halton. Early Immersion
students must accumulate a total of 10 immersion credits in order to receive
a Certificate of Immersion Studies.
Course Offerings
Students in the French Immersion Program will take following courses:
YEAR 1 Francais (FIF1D1), Sciences (SNC1D4), Arts Dramatiques
(ADA1O4), (Géographie CGC1D4)
YEAR 2 Francais (FIF2D1), Histoire (CHC2D4), Éducation
à la citoyenneté (CHV2O4 -0.5 crédit), Orientation
professionnelle, GLC2O4 -0.5 crédit)
YEAR 3 Francais (FIF3U1), Civilisations (CHW3M4)
YEAR 4 Francais (FIF4U1)
The aims and content of these courses will be the same as the English
counterparts; however, the texts, instruction and resource materials will
be in French.
